It's approaching the end of 2022 and the usual Christmas shut down, due to the chaos and delays caused in the postal network by regular Royal Mail worker industrial action (strikes) and an additional two strike dates directly before Christmas day the decision has been made to shut down order dispatches early this year and resume slightly later than normal in order to allow Royal Mail some time to clear the backlog of post that will have built up.
During this time manufacturing operations will continue and the extra time gained will be spent catching up on restocking products that are out of stock and other important admin work which has fallen behind.
Shut down dates are as follows, please note I will still be replying to enquiries during this time apart from Christmas day and Boxing day,
17th December – No orders being dispatched
18th December – No orders being dispatched
19th December – No orders being dispatched
20th December – No orders being dispatched
21st December – No orders being dispatched

2nd January – No orders being dispatched
3rd January – No orders being dispatched

If the CWU announces a strike date on the 5th of January then order dispatches will be moved to the next working day available, depending on order volume some orders may not get dispatched on the 5th.
